met a user of POS software that didn't need support. We think charging extra for something

Therefore, we decided to build tech support into our basic subscription. That means that
everyone has access to knowledgeable support techs 24/7 without worrying about separate
fees or incident charges. We just think it's simpler.
To solve that problem we use the new software-as-a-service distribution model that is growing rapidly in the software industry. The
difference is that instead of paying one lump sum for the software up front, you pay a monthly subscription. That subscription includes
the services you rely on (support, training, upgrades, and data backups). It also enables you to see a return on your investment much quicker.

From the moment you become a Profit Pilot subscriber, a specific support tech
is assigned to be responsible for your install, your support and making sure you’re
happy with the system on a daily basis. They will also call you periodically just
to see if you have any questions, problems or suggestions. It’s a responsibility
